12 KILGORE NEWS HERALD Friday, October 7, 1988 Deaths and funerals DUKAKIS Today's stocks ALBERT EARL WOODS Albert Earl Woods, 38, of Kilgore died Wednesday in Good Shepherd Hospital. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Faith Tabernacle of God in Christ with Elder Milton Timmons officiating. Burial will be in Kilgore City Cemetery, directed by Jones Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m.

Saturday. Surviving are his wife, Joanna; three stepdaughters, Stephanie, Lashonda and Veronica, all of Kilgore; his mother, Doris, Kilgore; five sisters, Myra Ann Walters, Los Angeles, Dorothy Jo Cooks, Longview, and Novella Johnson, Vanessa Woods and Sandra Dee Woods, all of Tyler; and four brothers, Vernon of Tyler, Cornell of Kilgore, Dion of Denver and Aaron of Huntsville. ELLIS EMORY LOYD GILMER Ellis Emory Loyd, 67, of Gilmer died Thursday at Baylor Medical Center in Gilmer. He was a retired funeral director and coowner of Loyd Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m.

Saturday at First Baptist Church, Gilmer, with Dr. David Jenkins and Larry Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer, directed by Loyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Mr. Loyd was born in Sand Hill community, Upshur County, was a World War II Army veteran, Baptist, past president of Gilmer Lions Club and a Mason. He was in the funeral service for 41 years. Surviving are his wife, Louise; a son, Mike, Gilmer; a daughter, Paula Cannon, Gilmer; four brothers, Melvin, Elvin and James, all of Gilmer, and Leslie Paul, Pittsburg; two sisters, Delores Visage, Longview, and Ouida Davis, East Mountain; and five grandchildren. RAY GRISHAM HENDERSON Funeral services for Ray Grisham, 78, of Henderson, will be held at 2 p.m.

Saturday in the Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Tisdale officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr.

Grisham died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday in Henderson Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born Feb. 13, 1910, in Spring Hill, but had been a resident of Henderson since 1937. He was a retired minister and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Gene Grisham, Henderson; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Davis, Henderson; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. today. TED M.

(SPUT) COSTON HENDERSON Ted M. (Sput) Coston, 77, of Brachfield, died at his residence at 4:50 p.m. Thursday after a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Crawford-A.

Crim Chapel with O.R. Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Mr. Coston was born May 22, 1911, in Mount Enterprise and was a lifetime resident of Rusk County.

He worked for the Texas Department of Corrections and was a guard at the TDC unit at Angleton for 17 years. He was a member of the Wolf Hunters Association and served in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mardelle Coston; a daughter, Ann Coston Jackson, Tyler; a brother, Crockett Coston, Crockett; two sisters, Ruth Cyphers and Luna March, both of Mount Enterprise. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

RALPH G. BRYAN LONGVIEW Ralph G. Bryan, 60, of Liberty City died this morning in Roy H. Laird Memorial Hospital. He was a maintenance superintendent for Amoco Pipeline Co.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Rader Chapel, Longview, with the Rev. Bruce Wells officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood, directed by McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Mr. Bryan had lived in Liberty City seven years, coming from Houston. He was a Baptist and a World War II Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Darla Jean Golden, Longview; a son, Steven Clarence Bryan, Liberty City; two brothers, Jimmy H. and Kenneth both of Greenwood; three grandchildren, four nieces and nephews SAMANTHA RENEE DeLANGE LONGVIEW Samantha Renee DeLange, infant daughter of Kevin and Misty Renee DeLange of Longview, died Wednesday shortly after birth in a Longview hospital.

Services were to be held at 4 p.m. today in Lakeview Funeral Home parlor with the Rev. Donald Beebe officiating. NORA LEE ELLISON Nora Lee Ellison of Tyler died this morning in a Tyler hospital.
