Spitsen was born in Omaha, NE. Go Huskers! He served in the US Air Force at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. After his service he moved his family back to Omaha, NE for 3 years. In 1967 he moved his family one last time to Albuquerque, NM where he raised his family. Mr.

Spitsen worked many years for the United States Postal Service and ultimately retired from the Post Office at the age of 55. He enjoyed working on genealogy and traveling.
